Objektivity LDN. Dennis Ferrer, SIS, Julian Perez, Andre Hommen, Jack Fell Down. Was On Saturday, May 11th. @ Cable London, 33A Bermondsey Street, London, SE1, 10pm - 6am

Objektivity is excited to announce the first in a series of exclusive London showcases. The ‘Sons of Raw’ concept sees head honcho Dennis Ferrer team up with new and exciting underground talent to provide a unrivalled experience for those who like their house deep, damp and downright dirty.

As a Son of Raw himself, DENNIS FERRER decided to gather around promising talents whose veins are filled with the same raw blood as his, hence the name: ‘Sons of Raw’. One of whom is the much sought-after German DJ / Producer ‘SIS’ whose releases on Desolat, 8 Bit, and Cecille have gained him some serious accolade and left him highly in demand all over the world. SIS has been named as best breakthough act, as well as being awarded "Producer of the Year" and "Track of the Year" by Groove magazine. Raveline named him the #2 Live Act of the year and Newcomer of the year. A very welcome and exciting addition to Sons of Raw !

we are thrilled to present another compliment to the sound that is Objektivity; ‘JULIAN PEREZ’ (VIVa Music, Leftroom, Fathers & Sons). Julian has built a solid reputation around the world, building a solid following of fans with his elegantly moving and absorbing groovy style. The best way to get to know and enjoy Julian is to listen to him in his own world behind the decks. His sound now goes well beyond deep and old school house grooves, pushing a unique sound that has continuously provided a soundtrack for some of the worlds best party experiences.

After introducing The Martinez Brothers to the world, Dennis Ferrer’s sharp eye for talent fell on André Hommen (co-producer of ‘No Difference’) With successful releases and already legendary back2back sets with Dennis Ferrer under his belt, we look forward to welcoming André to warm things up for the night.

The final addition to the line up is the emerging new talent ‘JACK FELL DOWN’. Although still relatively new, the duo seem to be making all the right noises. Each release they have had to date has charted in the Juno top 10 including their new 12″ on Home Taping Is Killing Music. With regular plays on Radio 1 their ‘low-slung sexy house’ opened Jaymo & Andy George’s brand new Moda compilation along side acts like Eats Everything, Disclosure and The 2Bears.

Over the last five years, New York’s infamous deep house imprint has earned its place among the other major label showcases flocking the world’s most important dance music conference and biggest club festivals. After successful showcases at Trouw, Toffler, Studio 80, De Karavaan and sold out ADE editions from 2008 till 2012. Objektivity is coming to the capital via Cable London; Buried under the depths of London Bridge, Cable incorporates impressive industrial aesthetics within its vast railway arches, metallic air-ducting and exposed brickwork. It boasts a custom-built Nova sound system providing unrivalled power and definition. Along with a high-end lighting rig, and three separate spaces including a chilled ambient seating area away.

Capacity is purposely limited to ensure the experience is raw, intimate and unforgettable. Tickets are in high demand for this event so early purchase is recommended.

Nouveau & Musiq Concrete. DJ W!ld, Martinez & Outart. Was On Saturday, May 11th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

It was back in in the darker months of 2012 that we thanked you for supporting us as we tipped D’Julz and Shonky to be the catalysts for our gritty November party. And we did have a lot to thank you for… The weather was wank, it was pre pay day, and yet there you were, lucid legged with a boot load of foot stomping energy - right until the heavies chucked us all out in the cold!

So what’s on the menu for May? Described as “deep, dark, acid sexy house” we can confirm such a rendition for the DJ known as W!LD to be true. Since he last partied with us back in 2010, DJ W!LD has gone on to great success with his superb artist album ‘Dirty’ and joined the world-renowned Cocoon family, which is why the French born house hero is one of the most deserving breakthrough acts of recent years: enjoy!

It’s well known that the life-blood of innovation is creativity. Martinez’s music is alive. Having contributed significantly to several genres of house over the years, Martinez is a DJ with an accomplished palette for impeccable electronic tastes. His most recent album on Moon Harbour Recordings was titled “Paradigm Shift” – the universal sense of movement in this name is clear; a vision we seek to behold in our brick furrowed womb of a venue in May.

Outart, an Italian DJ duo not quite embryonic in their DJ careers, but young none the least, will also be providing warmth at the party. Names, dates, people, places? The boys’ music has been fronted by the likes of Loco Dice, Matthias Tanzmann and Steve Lawler to name a few. Having played at an array of notable London warehouses, Fabric and Zoo Project, Outart are melodic, bassy and strong supporters of our cause.

Forum. San Proper (Perlon/Rush Hour), Nic & Kaleb (Kameleon/1trax) & Andy Penny. Was On Saturday, May 11th. @ Basing House, 25 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, E28AA, 10pm - 4am

Forum arrives for our first event this spring, aiming to provide the finest quality underground artists from some of the most forward thinking and innovative labels around, as well as showcasing some of the freshest up and coming talent on offer.

The focus will be on quality music first and foremost.

For our first event on May 11th, we're happy to welcome one of Amsterdam's most respected and innovative artists, San Proper. Joining him will be London's talented duo, Nic & Kaleb and also Forum resident Andy Penny.

SAN PROPER - PERLON/RUSH HOUR

Over the last fifteen years, San Proper has been spinning and playing live from major clubs and festivals to smaller bars and dodgy underground locations. He’s known and praised for his House & Disco sets, but also skilled in blending different styles from Acid to Afro-beat into an eclectic mix.

As an Amsterdam local, San Proper has worked closely with fresh and genuine labels and organizations like Rush Hour, Dekmantel and Trouw... all known for setting the tone for quality underground music and scenery by supporting local talent and paying tribute to house and techno legends.

This same attitude got him to release on several labels like Rush Hour and Perlon. His first five releases with Rush Hour was based on presenting his musical friends from Amsterdam with his “Proper A’dam Family Series”, ‘Part 4’ with O-Boogie got picked up by Laurent Garnier, who did an edit of ‘Magnificent Speech Funk’. After presenting his background he released his break through record “Keep it Raw” on Perlon, after producing a remix on this label for Ricardo Villalobos with a track entitled ‘Electonic Water- It ate my Quarter’ which resulted in several releases on Perlon. Meanwhile he has been collaborating with muses, friends and associates Tom Trago, Awanto 3 and Melon representing the sound of Amsterdam House music.

Known for his eccentric style and passion for a party, we look forward with genuine excitement to welcoming San Proper to Forum.

NIC & KALEB - (KAMELEON) 1TRAX/HOT WAVES

Influenced by garage and the early rave scene, Nic and Kaleb’s blend of house has made them favourites of clubbers and promoters alike. And while it all started in London town, it's been Ibiza with its energy, endless parties and a certain club named DC10 that not has only refined their approach but which has played an instrumental role in propelling them onto the international stage.

In 2007, they secured a residency at one of the most talked about parties in Ibiza, Zoo Project, and since then Nic & Kaleb have held their own amongst the who’s who of the house & techno elite, having played some of the world’s most revered clubs including Fabric, Space Ibiza and Cocoon to name just a few.

Both avid collectors of vinyl, their approach has one foot firmly in the analogue realm, with Nic choosing to keep his selection vinyl only, leaving Kaleb room to experiment with a digital set up that possesses less limits. This combination of classic and forward thinking is one that gives their sound depth and an authenticity, a trait echoed in their production work.

Launching their Kameleon project in early 2012 with good friends Simon ‘Vicious Circle’ Vice and Jamie Funk , Nic & Kaleb have created an outlet to express themselves away from DJ booth. The quartet’s debut release on 1Trax Records won them plaudits from across the board and their 2nd release in early 2013, on Hot Creation's off shoot Hot Waves, further cemented their reputation as ones to watch on their rise through the underground scene.

With forthcoming releases under their own 'Nic & Kaleb' name, it’s safe to say their ear for quality music stretches further than just behind the decks. 2013 is set to be a big year for Nic & Kaleb and we're happy to have them join us at Forum to provide their unique brand of house and techno for us.

ANDY PENNY - FORUM

With over 25 years experience as a DJ and all round music-lover, Andy Penny is no stranger to life behind the decks.

Drawing his inspiration and influences from the early Detroit and Chicago scene, from legends such as Blake Baxter, Theo Parrish and Robert Armani as well as a whole host of others, it's fair to say Andy's DJ style stretches right across the board. His Djing career has seen him travel the globe extensively, having in played in places far and wide from China and the Middle-East to Central America as well as all over Europe, including Germany, Switzerland and the infamous Space terrace in Ibiza...not to mention the UK's legendary Cream.

With his vast experience, Andy's ability to read a crowd and set the mood is as good as you'll hear and his talent for mixing the old with the new always leaves the crowd expecting the unexpected...his sets are not to be missed.

Kyle Hall Album Launch. Kyle Hall, Funkineven, Jay Daniel & Semtek. Was On Saturday, May 11th. @ Corsica Studios, 5 Elephant Road, London, SE17 1LB, 10pm - 6am

Corsica Studios & Wild Oats are proud to present the launch party for Kyle Hall's debut LP, 'The Boat Party.'

"Since debuting on Omar S's FXHE label as a 15-year-old back in 2007, the Detroit artist has developed a dexterous approach to production that combines classic deep house, jazz and beatdown elements with a tough, experimental edge. The bulk of Hall's solo material has come out on his own label, although he has appeared with solo EPs on UK imprints Hyperdub and Third Ear, as well as Detroit's Moods & Grooves. His remix commissions to date have seen him turn a hand to tracks from Darkstar, Emika, Dennis Ferrer, Jimmy Edgar and Space Dimension Controller among others.

In 2012 Hall put out a number of singles through Wild Oats, including collaborations with FunkinEven (as FunkinEvil) and Detroit Underground Records chief Kero, as well as records from MGUN and Anthony Shake Shakir. As Juno Plus report, Hall has described The Boat Party as a "fusion of original work, sample tracks, and raw edits," with the seven-track album set to be released on double LP format. For an idea of what to expect, head over to the Wild Oats SoundCloud page to hear a brief snippet of album track

Huntleys & Palmers. Philipp Gorbachev (Cómeme) Live + Timothy J Fairplay. Was On Saturday, May 11th. @ Birthdays, 33-35 Stoke Newington Road, N16 8BJ, 10pm - 3am

Like many artists on our favourite Cómeme label, Philipp Gorbachev produces something more than just functional nightclub music. Combining elements of EBM, Industrial, Italo the Russian conjures music both at once familiar and remarkably unique, hardly surprising that he caught the attention of Rebolledo and Mr Aguayo.

Andrew Weatherall's studio engineer and The Asphodells partner-in-crime, Timothy J Fairplay has recently been making a name for his own productions of late, and quite rightly so! Releasing some belters on the likes of Andy Blake's World Unknown and Emotional Response, he also the drummer in the sadly no more Battant.
Watch out for his new label with Glaswegian, Scott Fraser, We Are The Axis.

H&P's Andrew will open.

Join us.

Tumble. Roger Gerressen, Robin Ordell ++. Was On Saturday, May 11th. @ 12 Stoke Newington Road, N16 7XN, From 10pm...

Tumble would like to welcome it's first party in 2013 with two talented artists - Roger Gerressen and Robin Ordell.

Roger, co-founder of ESHU Records and a quarter of ESHU has been impressing people with his stripped down, driving, dubby techno and house sounds with solo releases such as his Faithful E.P. on Sudden Drop and his latest release Dirty Stomp E.P. with Ivano Tetelepta on Nilla Records. His co-productions on ESHU, also equally impressive are more atmospheric and thought provoking provding sounds from dark rumbles and chants to haunting sound scapes. Originally from Nijmegen in the Netherlands, along with the rest of the ESHU crew, it will be Roger's first trip to the UK and all I can say we are very excited to be hearing him play at Tumble!

You can hear Roger's latest podcast mix here:
https://soundcloud.com/placekaunas/place-kaunas-podcast-002-roger

Robin, as I'm sure a few of you may know or have heard him play as a resident at the infamous Sunday party Half Baked, is a London based DJ and has more recently broke into the world of music production. Robin Ordell’s music influences come mostly from
Jazz, bringing in deep soulful grooves, dubs & a funky music stem, always characterized by improvisation, syncopation and usually a forceful rhythm. Freshly signed on EKLO Records with his solo release Monopolar, a E.P. release in collaborations with some of electronic music’s most talked about upcoming producers,
Robin has also appeared on labels such as Leftroom, Serialism, Remake Music & Safari Numerique. His latest track can be found on Half Baked Records first E.P. release with other artists such as Seuil,
Le Loup & Yakine. It will also be a great pleasure to hear Robin play at Tumble, as his music and style never ceases to impress!

You can listen to some of Robin's latest productions here:

Last but not least will be local boys Lee Arucci, Galvin Kara (aka. PhG) and Richie Hill to bring in their fine selection of records to play for you lucky people! We will be providing a separate sound system to make sure those lovely sounds reach your ears the best way they can.

Hope to see you there X

//AUDIO WERNER _LIVE_

http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/audiowerner

I am sure very little introduction is needed when one hears the name ‘Audio Werner’. With a history of house which spans over 2 decades easily, Andreas Werner has been a great contribution to underground electronic music not only as a producer and live performer but as a Dj. Having created the label ‘Hartchef Discos’ with friends in 2004 he subsequently has produced many as unique as timeless releases. Since "Zwrtshak Drive" hit the clubs, Audio Werner started getting many requests to play DJ- and Livesets, many of them in Berlin. It was not long after that he made the decision of moving there for good where he still resides today.
Many say that a person’s music is a reflection of their personality - I would say in Andreas´case this is even more so. If I was asked to define his music in a few words they would be playful funkyness combined with moody complexity. When I think of him as a character I can totally match those adjectives: He is an extremely musical person always keeping in mind that music and party is about having a good time and not about carrying on some narrow-minded super serious business. No wonder this childish/playful side comes out on the music, as well as the harmonies and the amazing pianos (as per his latest Minibar release Rushograph EP).
During the past year he has been concentrating on his new live set which he performed for the first time at ‘Get Perlonized’ at Panorama Bar in November 2012 proving to be a huge success.

//LOWRIS

http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/lowris

Lowris is a young self-made man. Only 24 years old, this sound engineer evolved from being a simple producer to a talented label manager. He takes part in the management of several Parisian imprints as well as his own white label, his new label Aeternum Music, or his friend's project Crazy jack.
Inspired by artists like Zip or Ricardo Villalobos production methods and style of djing, he pays a particular attention to his selection. He naturally started to organize his own parties called Unknown, where he invited guests like Agnes and Gescu. To listen to one of his sets is like discovering a deep and rhythmic atmosphere with a lot of surprises.

//DAN LIVELY

http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/danlively

As one third of the collective 'Deep End Soundsystem (D.E.S)' Dan's sound has various influences and ranges through a wide spectrum of House & Techno.
The future sees him continuing to progress on his journey as a DJ while also having recently released his new label, Othertones.
