Following Tiefschwarz outstanding live performance at fabric's monthly all-night party series 'On’, the German beat bastions are back, this time bringing you a deep house specialist DJ set. 2010 has been an exciting year for the music loving brothers who saw their first album in five years, ‘Chocolate’ expose muscular dancefloor rhythm and feature the standout track ‘Trust’, featuring Seth Troxler’s inimitable vocals. Joining them will Martin Buttrich, co-founder of Desolat records and collaborator with names like Loco Dice and Timo Maas, for a sonic baffling live set; all put in motion by none other than our resident Craig Richards.

Room Two will be living in spirit and enthusiasm for five years of Safari Electronique, the London-based label behind Arnaud Le Texier & James Warren. Huntleys & Palmers. w/ Rebolledo and Braiden. Was On Saturday, September 18th. @ Moustache Bar, 58 Stoke Newington Road, N16, 10pm - 3am

Rebolledo / Braiden / Andrew (H&P / Rhythm Box)

With a few minor tweaks to be made, our website is just around the corner with a slew of guest mixes available and lined up. To mark the imminent launch we've invited two of our favourite DJ's of recent times.

Rescheduled from earlier in the summer, Rebolledo will finally land in London and cause a happening party. He's been responsible for some of our favourite records over the past year - look no further than his recent remix of Siskid for further proof. Having played for us in Glasgow, we can testify first hand to his dancefloor destruction - playing old Kompakt records alongside Chicago House, Italo classics and upfront Comeme cuts.

London upstart Braiden supports. Since moving to London, his sets have been big favourites of ours - mixing everything from Detroit electro to the freshest tunes from his Rinse FM counterparts alongside old school disco and techno moderne. An aspiring photographer too, it's little surprise that FACT mag have branded him "absurdly talented". Check his Sonar set for more here: http://redbullmusicacademyradio.com/shows/2914/

For the uninitiated, the Moustache Bar is a small East London basement. Coupled with the exclusivity of a Rebolledo UK appearance, it's advisable to buy an advance ticket from RA today. Act fast, act now.

Nightslug L-Vis 1990 and new R&S signing Untold both return after playing our Mad Decent party back in May. They are all joined by Wax:On's Eskimo Twins and Bugged resident and Turbo top boy Matt Walsh. XOYO is located right slap bang next to Old St tube so we've never been easier to get to either! See. What?. w/ Baby Ford & Ion Ludwig. Was On Friday, September 17th. @ The Gramaphone, 60-62 Commercial St, London, E1 6LT, 10pm - 6am

WHAT? with BABY FORD & ION LUDWIG @ THE GRAMAPHONE
Friday 17th Sep 2010, 10pm – 6am

After the great success of What? with Margaret Dygas, we are back again at our favourite basement and with some super surprises on the menu as well. Our September session at The Gramaphone is coming to headline legendary Baby Ford himself! ...and this is not everything! You can also expect special live performance from popular Dutch gentleman Ion L...udwig.

Baby Ford (Ifach)

Peter Ford is one of the most recognized names in current electronic music. He is one of the founders of the UK Acid House scene and he is releasing music under numerous aliases for over 20 years now.

His early work was heavily influenced by the late 80’s Acid House, as well as Chicago producers such as Marshall Jefferson or Ron Trent among others and included classics like ‘’Oochy Koochy’’, ‘’Children of the Revolution’’ and ‘’Fetish’’. His works came out on many labels which included Sire, Source or Insumision/Transglobal. Albums such as Ford Trax or Headphone Easyrider are considered as classic among most techno DJs.

His recent work has appeared mostly through his own imprints Ifach or Trelik, but we can find his name also on releases from Perlon, Sender, Autoreply, Rephlex just to name few. He is involved in many collaborations and groups which are including names such as Thomas Melchior or Zip.

Ion Ludwig (Motivbank, Resopal, Quagmire)

Ion Ludwig is young Dutch artist whose name gets mentioned in our circles more the often right now. He’s got his amazing new album out (Free K Loudwiggle) on his own imprint Quagmire, impressive releases on labels such as Motivbank or Resopal and his ‘’live’’ is something you definitely need to see.

Ion learned classic and electric guitar and studied at several African percussion courses all by the age of ten. After being introduced to techno and house he started to produce his own music in the summer of 2003. In his early productions he’s been searching for a minimal sound. As freaky as it can get, his music is dark and raw, always changing and moving.

His first 12’’ release was for Butane’s label Alphahouse and after this EP we’ve seen releases on labels such as Underline, Stock5, Phonocult, Resopal and Motivbank. In 2007 Ion moved from Amsterdam to Berlin and founded his own label Quagmire. These days we can see him performing all around Europe and beyond in most respected venues alongside with top international artists.

Our special guests will be supported as usual by resident DJs Juraj and Brano Petrek and again we will have some interesting visuals by our friend .hek.

This is undoubtedly going to be one super little night again and we are already counting every minute!!!

See you on the dancefloor.

███████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Headlining we welcome two of Europe's most exciting up and coming DJ's and producers over the last couple of years, Robert Dietz & H.O.S.H.

Robert Dietz
Robert Dietz, fresh (or not so) from his Cadenza Ibiza residency, will be rupturing the foundations of the ETM warehouse with his effortless heady house grooves. His productions speak for themselves with strong releases on Cecille, Cadenza, Be Chosen and Deep Vibes. However, it's Robert's DJing skills that we look forward to the most...

Check out Robert's dancetrippin.tv live mix from the Cadenza opening beach party at Ushuaia - beautifully mixed balearic bliss...We were totally sold! (Take note of our resident Jordi's tune being dropped about halfway through and the resulting hands in the air!) :)

H.O.S.H.
Our second headliner represents the deeper side of the ever impressive Diynamic imprint. H.O.S.H. is a man who feels as at home in a DJ booth as he does in his very own bed. With a back catalogue of hits on Diynamic and remixes and releases on Get Physical, Kindisch and Tsuba, to name a few, H.O.S.H. needs little introduction from us. Excited is an understatment to have him join excuse the mess on the 17th September.

Claudia Lovisa, one half of Amelie, is a girl on the go! A resident of Ibiza, Claudia has the pleasures of the white isle at her disposal. With releases on Audiofly's Supernature label and some upcoming releases on a couple of Europe's best labels early next year...Claudia and her Amelie partner Sophie Oliver are a pair of girls to watch out for. Claudia's deep and groovy sound is just what we like!

Also joining us are our own residents Jordi Mas and Nick Maleedy. We are extremely proud to have an artist of Jordi Mas's calibre as part of the excuse the mess family. With recent gigs at Lo*Kee, Fabric, TBAR, Half Baked and his own excuse the mess residency, a massive release earlier this year and a South African tour coming up, we expect only BIG things from this guy. It's been another great year for our other resident Nick Maleedy, having played at Fabric and represented ETM in South Africa with Cadenza's Pablo-Cahn Speyer, always providing us with the backbone to the excuse the mess sound...

Warm. w/ Gadi Mizrahi (Wolf + Lamb) Melon (Ratio?). Was On Friday, September 17th. @ Plastic People, 147-149 Curtain Road, EC2A 3QE, 10pm - 4am

Gadi Mizrahi (Wolf + Lamb)
Melon (Ratio?)
Warm Residents

Warm continue their exclusive monthly Plastic People residency on Friday September 17th with sets from Gadi (Wolf + Lamb) and Melon (ratio?music).

As one half of Wolf + Lamb Gadi Mizrahi is behind one half of one of the most talked about DJ partnerships and record labels to come out of New York in the past decade. Established in 2005, Wolf + Lamb has prided itself on being the home for fresh and exciting talent, releasing records by the likes of Seth Troxler, Nicolas Jaar, Shaun Reeves and of course Wolf + Lamb themselves. The Marcy Hotel (their club, home, and production studio) has become the stuff of legend, attracting artists from all over the world. All in all, Wolf + Lamb have that rare talent of producing and releasing music that is both achingly hip and completely essential at the same time. The debut Wolf + Lamb album just dropped to widespread acclaim and Gadi himself has recently been responsible for solo releases on Simple, Double Standard and Spectral Sound. So we’re really excited about this unique opportunity to catch Gadi in the intimate surroundings of Plastic People.

Jeroen Hofer AKA Melon is one of the central figures of Amsterdam’s electronic music scene. Involved with many different nights over the years – he even handed Ricardo Villalobos his Dutch debut – he is now behind the enormously successful Ratio? nights at Trouw, a monthly showcase for the best house and techno DJs including the likes of Kerri Chandler, Carl Craig and Larry Heard. He has also been responsible for a series of killer releases on Innervisions and his own ratio?music imprint.

Joining Gadi and Melon will be the Warm Residents, Ali Tillett and Rob Summerhayes.
